Back From The Dead

What a year it has been! For me, 2018 was filled with ups and downs but most were

positive. I'll post each major event as its own blog post for the simple reason that there is too much detail for one post.

The reason for not keeping the blog up to date was that I simply lost it... I didn't tie it to Facebook with my Toronto Live page or my farm page. Oops.

Back to a recap of 2018, I started strong creatively with prepping and NaMoPaiMo... but that quickly faded away and I returned to the daily grind. Work filled up much of my free time and when I did manage to escape, I was too exhausted to even consider model horses, real horses, painting, or much else.

When I did manage to get some fresh air, I mostly read manga or watched movies. Creatively, 2018 was a bit of a bust. Though I did manage to do some digital drawing.

Some highlights of the year included graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Integrated Media with a focus in Digital Painting and Expanded Animation. Don't worry, I still don't know what that really means either. Another highpoint was our racing filly A.A. Azula's Arch becoming our best lifetime racehorse. She will get her own post likely later today.

Some low points were the passing of Ichiban and Knickers, both I have featured on this blog. Both with get their own memorial post with photos and explanations.

I remain busy and 2019 looks to be a massive travel year including at least 4 different

countries (U.S.A, Cayman Islands, Japan, Canada, and likely either somewhere in Europe or somewhere else in Asia). It will be a massive model horse year for me with the building of my resin herd (to be announced later) and the Jennifer Show in September.

Not only do I have model horse commitments, but I have 3 mares that will be foaling this year. Will I finish my NaMoPaiMo model this year? Will I finish the entires I want to finish in time for the Jennifer Show? Will I ever stop reading manga and actually do something creative? The Foal Watch continues... stay tuned.
